ABOUT SUNDIALMAN

As a designer maker Nick Canfield, Sundialman insists on the best quality materials to turn his sundials into pleasingly proportioned and durable features, for your house, garden or public open space.

Nick made his first sundial 36 years ago. He became a full time professional sundialmaker in 1993 producing all types of sundial, large and small. True craftsmanship, a term much abused by others. "Craftsman, not salesman". Proud to be chosen by other sundial makers to supply components and whole sundials.

Each dial is individually made for its location.

Nick has supplied dials to national institutions, schools, local authorities, stately homes and many private individuals. They have been delivered to all parts of the globe as far apart as California, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Africa and all parts of Britain from Shetland to the Channel Isles, Great Yarmouth to Northern Ireland.

I am happy to make a firm appointment, or simply check that I am not away and feel free to come and discuss your requirements with no obligation. Please note that as each sun dial is individually made, there is not a large display of sundials. Just the dials I am working on at any particular time.

Park on road. Walk to church gate, then follow the driveway past gate and private house (no connection with my business) to the workshop on left.
